Welcome, Prayer Team Member

This is the new Daily Prayer Briefing email format. This early version is all about beta testing the primary 14-step automated process. All the READ MORE links should work well. Each click is tracked and documented. A bit later, we'll switch to further refining the design the appearance. Ideas and comment are welcome :)

This first section will house a short personal type greeting, message (like this one) or information for our members.

There are two promotional sections (hidden for now) allowing us to announce upcoming activities or build better value with our members.

Thank you.

Here is your Prayer Briefing for Tuesday, July 1

President Donald Trump is going to tour the new Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility in the Florida Everglades, dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz." The Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport location, which was an existing setup for emergency responses, was repurposed "within a matter of days," Governor DeSantis announced. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said of the detention venue, "There is only one road leading in and the only way out is a one-way flight. It is isolated, and surrounded by dangerous wildlife in unforgiving terrain."

The Senate is in the process of voting on the "Big, Beautiful Bill" that will fund President Donald Trump's agenda. Among the many provisions of the legislation, it would extend tax cuts from President Trump's first term and offer tax breaks on tips and overtime pay. A number of amendments have been proposed and are being addressed in what is called a "vote-a-rama."

House Speaker Mike Johnson and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent have been involved in negotiations regarding the state and local tax (SALT) deduction cap, which has been a sticking point for several federal legislators. Speaker Johnson anticipates the Senate passage of the legislation with the House of Representatives taking it back up tomorrow to consider the changes.

Vantage Point Devotional

Confident Faith

Can you imagine what it would be like to see God's glory? Moses desired to see it. God allowed Moses in His presence, but he wasn't allowed to see His face, lest Moses would die (Exodus 33:20). What a remarkable thing Christ did to allow people to have access to God with boldness, through faith, as it says in today's verse....
