Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence will be drastically reducing its operating budget by $700 million annually. "Over the last 20 years, ODNI has become bloated and inefficient," Director Gabbard said. "Ending the weaponization of intelligence and holding bad actors accountable are essential to begin to earn the American people's trust which has long been eroded." Director Gabbard added that the cost-cutting measures aimed at saving taxpayers dollars are expected to go into effect as early as October 1 of this year. |
