State Department Spokesperson Tommy Pigott said that Secretary Rubio will be discussing "swift and decisive action to dismantle cartels, halt fentanyl trafficking, end illegal immigration, reduce the trade deficit, and promote economic prosperity and counter malign extra continental actors." Secretary Rubio will proceed to Ecuador after his meetings with Mexican leaders.
