THE DAILY PRAYER BRIEFING

President Donald Trump is welcoming Polish President Karol Nawrocki to the White House today. President Trump had endorsed President Nawrocki in Poland's election, inviting the then-candidate to the Oval Office in May. The Polish president was sworn into office in early August.

President Nawrocki recently wrote to President Zelensky, expressing support for Ukraine. Yet, the Polish president has vetoed continued financial assistance for Ukrainian refugees. The legislation would also have provided a foundation for continued funding of Starlink access for Ukraine.

As the U.S. considers a reduction in its military presence in Europe, the Pentagon has committed to supplying Poland with F-35 fighter jets, Apache helicopters, Abrams tanks, and HIMARS rocket launchers.
