President Donald Trump will attend the men's U.S. Open Tennis final match this afternoon in his native Queens, New York, then return to Washington, D.C.

Prior to assuming the Executive Office, President Trump was a regular attendee of the Grand Slam tournament, being a then-resident and real estate mogul in New York City. The last sitting president to attend the U.S. Open was President Clinton in 2000.

President Trump has inclined much of his domestic travel so far in his second term to sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup in New Jersey, the NCAA wrestling championships in Pennsylvania, the Daytona 500 in Florida, and the Super Bowl in Louisiana.
