Today, the House Veterans Affairs Committee's Subcommittee on Technology Modernization, chaired by Representative Tom Barrett of Michigan, is holding a hearing to assess the VA's modernization deployment readiness surrounding electronic health records.

U.S. Capitol Congress

The House Rules Committee, chaired by Representative Virginia Foxx of North Carolina, is meeting to consider legislation regarding energy development and power production, the removal of the grey wolf from the Endangered Species list, and measures to increase protections for migrant children vulnerable to trafficking.

Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security Thomas DiNanno is in Geneva, Switzerland, today. The State Department said the Under Secretary is participating "in the UN's Biological Weapons Convention's Meeting of State Parties, including giving the keynote address at the U.S.-sponsored side event 'Modern Tools for Modern Threats.'"
