The House Committee on Education and Workforce, chaired by Representative Tim Walberg of Michigan, is considering the "Enhancing the Detection of Human Trafficking Act" and the "Pregnant Students Rights Act."

U.S. Capitol Congress

The House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio, is marking up legislation to address violent offenders and reform illegal immigration. One of the immigration measures would require all federal contractors to participate in the E-verify program.

The House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, chaired by Representative Brian Babin of Texas, is hearing testimony from U.S. officials on "Chemistry Competitiveness: Fueling Innovation and Streamlining Processes to Ensure Safety and Security."
