THE DAILY PRAYER BRIEFING

President Donald Trump is hosting a state dinner for the nation's state and territorial governors today. After reports that the formal meeting would only include governors of the president's party, President Trump stated that all but two governors had been invited.

While Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Colorado Governor Jared Polis did not receive invitations, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs is not attending due to a scheduling conflict.

Secretary Sean Duffy recently announced new transportation regulations that revise how states issue commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) to non-U.S. citizens. The rule addresses gaps in verifying foreign driving histories and English language standards before licenses are granted.
