THE DAILY PRAYER BRIEFING

U.S. and Ukrainian representatives are scheduled to meet today in Geneva ahead of a summit that will include Russian officials. Russia began the war in Ukraine with its invasion four years ago this week.

Secretary Marco Rubio met with President Zelenskyy last week to discuss "Ukraine's security and deepening defense and economic partnerships." The U.S. secretary of state affirmed, "President Trump wants a solution that ends the bloodshed once and for all."

The State Department recently cautioned Ukraine not to attack targets in Russia that impact American economic interests. Ukraine had conducted drone strikes against the Russian port of Novorossiysk in November that damaged a terminal belonging to Kazakhstan's Caspian Pipeline Consortium, part-owned by Chevron and Exxon.
