The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, chaired by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, is holding a confirmation hearing today for President Donald Trump's nominee for Secretary of Homeland Security, Senator Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma.

Congress Blue Sky and Trees

The Senate Intelligence Committee, chaired by Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, is holding hearings to examine worldwide threats.

The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, chaired by Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, is convening a full committee hearing on Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. The panel will consider the impact of the regulation regarding online expression and conduct over the 30 years since the policy's inception.
