Dear Prayer Team Member,

Today we wait, remembering the quiet between promise and fulfillment. Jesus' body lay in the tomb, and grief filled the hearts of His followers. It was a day of unanswered questions, heavy silence, and lingering fear. Even in the darkness, God was at work. His purposes are ever present and cannot be buried by the grave.

The National Day of Prayer is May 7th and the official 2026 National Day of Prayer guide is now available to request. This beautifully designed resource is ideal for small groups, churches, and family prayer times as we prepare to kneel as a nation before God in united petition and praise. REQUEST YOURS HERE.

Thank you for praying with us today. Here is your Daily Prayer Briefing.

THE DAILY PRAYER BRIEFING

The Department of Education is implementing updated identification standards for first-time Federal Student Aid borrowers to safeguard the program against fraud.

The department stated that, in recent years, less than one percent of students who applied for federal financial aid were required to verify their identity.

Education Secretary Linda McMahon oversaw a comprehensive review of federal student aid programs to ensure loans are granted responsibly.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us ...
  • For discernment for Secretary McMahon and Education Department officials as they implement updated identification guidelines for federal student aid.
  • For President Trump and members of his administration as they continue to seek avenues to eliminate fraud and waste.
  • For God's purposes and plans for the United States to be accomplished in and through federal governing officials.
