THE DAILY PRAYER BRIEFING

The two-week ceasefire that President Donald Trump had set for a peace agreement to be put in place with Iran expires tonight. President Trump stated during a recent interview that it was highly unlikely that he would extend the two-week ceasefire. He also said that the blockade of Iranian ports would continue unless there is a peace agreement in place.

Vice President JD Vance had been set to again lead the United States delegation in Islamabad, Pakistan, but negotiations are on hold as the Iranian regime required the U.S. naval blockade be lifted before they would discuss a potential peace deal.

Over two dozen Iranian ships have reportedly been turned back to that country's ports by the U.S. military during the blockade. The U.S. fired upon and seized an inbound Iranian-flagged ship over the weekend that ignored warnings as it tried to bypass the American naval blockade. The ship was reportedly carrying dual-use chemicals from China that are used in the manufacture of ballistic missiles.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us ...
  • For discernment for President Trump and members of his Cabinet as they assess Operation Epic Fury and next steps with Iran.
  • For the president to be led by the Lord as he makes decisions and issues orders.
  • For God's protection for the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who are serving in harm's way.
