THE DAILY PRAYER BRIEFING

Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Churck Grassley of Iowa, is considering President Trump's nominees for district court judge and U.S. attorney positions in the Department of Justice.

The Senate Finance Committee, chaired by Senator Mike Crapo of Idaho, is holding a hearing on President Trump's 2026 Trade Policy Agenda. The Senate Armed Services Committee, chaired by Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi, is receiving a closed briefing on anomalous health incidents.

House Appropriations subcommittees are marking up Fiscal Year 2027 budget legislation related to the State Department, national security, the Food and Drug Administration, and rural agricultural development.
