Today, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump officially bid King Charles and Queen Camilla farewell in the White House Diplomatic Reception Room.

The Senate Committees on Judiciary and Foreign Relations are convening to consider nominees for positions in the Departments of Justice and State. The Senate Committees on Appropriations and Armed Services are holding hearings on the fiscal year 2027 budget.

House Appropriations subcommittees are also meeting to discuss 2027 funding for Defense, Commerce, Justice, Science, Interior, Environment, and the Legislative Branch.
