Dear Prayer Team Member,

Today is the National Day of Prayer! Believers across six time zones will unite in 30 continuous hours of prayer, lifting one collective voice for our nation. From early morning to late evening, prayers will rise from every corner of the country, creating a powerful, uninterrupted blanket of prayer over America.

We invite you to join us in the National Prayer Room, where you can pray alongside others in real time and share your own prayers as you are led. Whether you join for a few minutes or stay longer, your presence truly matters and is an encouragement to others.

In addition, you can listen to streaming audio prayers on IPRAYRADIO.org, thoughtfully submitted by our members in preparation for the National Day of Prayer. It is a meaningful way to stay connected, encouraged, and united in prayer wherever you are.

To further support your time in prayer, we've made free tools and resources available to help guide and enrich your experience. Join with countless others praying today, and let your voice be part of what God is doing across our nation.

Thank you for praying with us today. Here is your Daily Prayer Briefing.

THE DAILY PRAYER BRIEFING

Today is the National Day of Prayer. This annual observance, established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1952 and signed by President Harry Truman, encourages Americans to turn to God in prayer and meditation.

In President Donald Trump's proclamation last year, he stated, "From the earliest days of our Nation's journey, America has been guided by the grace of Almighty God. Beginning with the opening prayer at the First Continental Congress in 1774, our faith has perpetually stood as the summit of our strength, the source of our unity, and the fount of our greatness."

"This National Day of Prayer, we thank God for His endless blessings - and we ask Him to grant us fortitude, wisdom, and a renewed spirit of justice as we continue the work to save our country and restore our national promise," the president continued. "Today and every day, we bow our heads in prayer to thank God for His countless gifts and to ask for His divine protection. Above all, we acknowledge that prayer is the foundation of our past, the guiding hand of our present, and the light of our future."

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us ...
  • For President Trump as he seeks to ensure the protections of religious freedom in the U.S.
  • For the president and members of his Cabinet to seek the Lord as they make decisions and implement policies.
  • For the citizens of the United States to draw near to the Lord in humble prayer across the nation.
