THE DAILY PRAYER BRIEFING

The House Committee on Natural Resources, chaired by Representative Bruce Westerman of Arkansas, is holding a legislative field hearing in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to discuss a draft of the "Great American Outdoors Act 250." The hearing will consider the reauthorization and reform of the Great American Outdoors Act to enhance public access, improve infrastructure, and create new outdoor recreation opportunities.

The House Veterans Affairs Committee's Subcommittee on Technology Modernization, chaired by Representative Tom Barrett of Michigan, is holding an oversight field hearing at Grand Ledge Army Aviation Facility in Michigan, entitled "Delivering Quality and Modern Healthcare to Michigan's Veterans and Servicemembers."

Today is a district court deadline for staff at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to complete the removal of President Donald Trump's name from official signs and documents, to reflect the center's name as Congress originally established it. Shortly after the judge's ruling, President Trump said he would transfer control of the Kennedy Center to Congress.
