Dear Prayer Team Member,

As we join together in prayer for our nation and its leaders, this Sunday marks the beginning of the 100-day countdown to Election Day on Tuesday, November 3rd. Once again, The Presidential Prayer Team is focusing our attention on providing helpful resources to equip you during this important election season.

We are pleased to let you know that PrayTheVote.org is once again available to help you find your state's election calendar, including registration methods and deadlines. Each day, we will share targeted election-related prayer items to keep our focus on the key issues and concerns facing our nation.

We warmly invite you to encourage your friends, church members, and family to join us in praying for the election as well.

While we remain steadfastly non-partisan, our prayerful attention to these elections serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of lifting up the candidates and the integrity of the entire voting process before the Lord.

A growing collection of helpful information is already available for you to explore at PrayTheVote.org.

Thank you for praying with us today. Here is your Daily Prayer Briefing.

THE DAILY PRAYER BRIEFING

Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated that the United States was prepared to assist in ending the war in Ukraine.

During his attendance at the ASEAN conferences and meetings in the Philippines, Secretary Rubio held talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Manila.

Secretary Rubio characterized previous peace efforts as "unsuccessful or at least unfruitful" but stated that President Trump was prepared to reengage "if conditions and factors have changed to make that possible."

"That's been the challenge -- an end that both sides can accept," said Secretary Rubio. "We've tried and we'll continue to try to see if we can, you know, find a middle ground that brings this about. And we're prepared to play that role if the opportunity presents itself."

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us ...
  • For Secretary of State Marco Rubio as he discusses the potential for peace between Russia and Ukraine.
  • For President Trump to be led by the Lord in his efforts to negotiate ceasefires in global conflicts.
  • For God's will and purposes to be accomplished in and through the actions and decisions of the president and his administration.
